As a university professor of Religious Studies and African American culture, I am blessed with the privilege to think “out loud” concerning the intersections of politics, popular culture and communities of faith.  Please journey with me as I seek to blend academic discourse with both the critical genius of barber/beautyshop wisdom and the the spiritual insight of the black prophetic tradition.
